Sorry for not posting lately, but Sem 2 is craaazy.
We started musculoskeletal anatomy, and boy was that a nasty shock. You would not believe the number of muscles we have! Or nerves! Or spinal cord segments! Or arteries! Or veins! Or how many different parts there are on a long bone! Sitting in lectures are the worst because, for me, nothing gets absorbed; I just sit there in shock, drowning in the Latin vomit our lecturers spew out.
But keep in mind that Anatomy is just one subject in our unit. We've also got Physiology, which is exponentially harder than last sem. Thankfully, Histo and Path are easier and therefore a lot more bearable (I view those lectures as a form of respite in between the onslaughts of Anatomy). Microbio will always be Microbio, but I do like our lecturer. Is it strange that I miss Immunology and Biochem? We've still got Biochem this sem, but it's pretty much just all about nutrition.
I don't even know what I'm saying anymore. Between studying, desperately trying to catch up with Anatomy, preparing for CBL presentations every fortnight, preparing for pracs every week, and doing essays/assignments that get thrown at us, I've also had things on almost every weekend since the start of the sem. I suppose it's good, having some semblance of a social life, but it's so easy to get burned out that way; I've been constantly tired, but that's nothing new. This weekend is my first free weekend in a long while, and I've spent it doing chores and studying. It's nice to not have anywhere I have to be.
A bunch of us started doing Insanity, so that is probably contributing to the tiredness as well. We're on Week 3 at the moment. At first, I felt myself getting fitter, but now I just feel myself getting tired-er.
'Tired-er'. That's not even a word.
I'm going to go before I make more grammetical erors. Goodbey!
